Ecology
Ecology has much to do with the subject of human compatibility. In accordance with this same concept – the feeling of responsibility towards people's health and well-being – Röwa products aim for the greatest possible degree of compatibility with ecological aspects.
For example, all high-resilient foams used in Röwa mattresses are foamed CFC-free with water.
The wood used for slatted frames comes from the forests of Southern Germany, which are continually being cultivated, i.e. reforested. The frame wood is not painted, but rather treated with linseed oil varnish. Linseed oil is a natural product and allows the wood to "breathe", as is its natural tendency.
