Shoulder zone – you'll notice quality
Special requirements are placed on the shoulder zone of a bed system. In the side sleeping position, the shoulders should gently sink into the mattress so that the spine can lie straight. Otherwise, tension develops in the neck, or arms become numb. In the back position, however, the shoulders should sink in as little as possible. The neck and lumbar region should be gently supported without forming a hollow back.
Although everyone may have their favorite sleeping position, both requirements are equally important, as the body's sleeping position naturally changes 8-10 times per hour.

The Röwa shoulder zone has a particularly broad range of functions. The slatted frames have a special slat form that supports the back area and allows you to sink in more deeply when lying on your side. Some mattresses also come with a bi-functional shoulder zone that reinforces this effect.
